Kitsap County First Aid, CPR & AED Training

Welcome to Crew 58 Training Solutions! We are committed to empowering individuals with high-quality skills in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Our goal is to inspire the citizens of Kitsap County to be prepared and confident when emergencies arise.

All classes are taught by a former Kitsap County Firefighter/EMT and EMS instructor with over sixteen years of experience. Each class meets or exceeds OSHA requirements and is valid nationwide!

In Person/ Blended Classes


CPR/ AED

Students can select certifications in Adult, Child, and/or Pediatric CPR and AED. Students will learn how to recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies, including heart attack and cardiac arrest. By the end of the class, students will have the skills to differentiate between normal and agonal respiration, perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), deliver rescue breaths and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

First Aid

Students will learn to identify and respond to emergencies that may occur at home and in the workplace. This class teaches essential skills for performing bandaging and wound care safely, as well as for managing environmental and respiratory emergencies, including choking. This training follows OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.

Opioid Overdose/ Nalxone Training

The First Aid for Opioid Overdoses course will equip you with the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively to a suspected opioid overdose emergency. Learn how to identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, as well as the appropriate care options. Students will learn how to use various naloxone products, such as the nasal atomizer Narcan® and EVZIO®

Prerequisite First Aid and/ or CPR is required

Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto-Injector

Students will learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and how to care for a person experiencing a severe allergic reaction, including administering epinephrine with an auto-injector device.

Life Threatening Bleeding and Tourniquet Application

In this advanced class, students will learn to identify life-threatening bleeding, how to apply direct pressure, and how to safely apply a tourniquet. This class is the Red Cross version of Stop The Bleed.

Bloodborne Pathogens

This course is intended for individuals who may be exposed to blood and bodily fluids in their workplace. Class covers essential topics, including how bloodborne pathogens are transmitted, methods for preventing exposure, and the necessary steps to take if contact with infectious materials occurs. Completion of this training meets the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standard.

Babysitting

This course is designed for children aged eleven to sixteen and provides all the essential information needed to start their own babysitting business. Topics covered include basic care for infants and children, basic first aid, child behavior management, age-appropriate activities, emergency response, feeding and diapering, and safe transportation for children. Additionally, leadership skills are also included in the curriculum. CPR and AED certification can be added to this course, enabling your child to achieve dual certifications.

Hands Only CPR

Hands-only CPR, or compression-only CPR, is simple to learn and easy to perform. Open to students of any age, participants will learn how to recognize a cardiac emergency and deliver quality chest compressions. Students will earn a certificate rather than a certification. This class is not intended to meet workplace requirements. Hands-Only CPR is taught by Crew 58 LLC for FREE

This non-certification, online course designed for the general public students will learn basic key actions that can be taken during a life-threatening emergency that can help sustain or save a life until EMS arrives. In this course, you will learn:

Opioid Overdose/ Naloxone Administration

Duration Approx. 90 Min

First Aid for Opioid Overdose (Online)

Learn how to identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose provide appropriate care based on the responsiveness of the person And how to use various naloxone products to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Upon completion you will receive a 2-year certificate of completion.

Duration Approx. 60 Min 

First Aid for Severe Trauma (Online)

Gain the knowledge and skills needed to respond to an life-threatening bleeding emergency, including how to communicate effectively, how to apply direct pressure and tourniquets. This course is designed to enhance participants’ ability to take decisive lifesaving action to assist a person with a traumatic injury and life-threatening bleeding until professional responders arrive. This course is not a certification course and only results in a completion certificate.

Cat and Dog First Aid (Online)

Students will learn basic first aid for their cat and dog including how to best give care for common emergency situations. Topics covered includes:

understanding your pet's vital signs, breathing, cardiac emergencies, wound care, bleeding, seizures and preventative care for cats and dogs.
