The American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED Online Blended Certification Course covers Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR with the use of rescue breaths and barrier devices, and choking. Students will also receive hands-on training and certification with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This certification is valid for two years, issued by the American Red Cross.
Course Structure
There are two parts to the American Red Cross CPR and AED Blended course
Part 1 - Online Study
Online Blended Course (link provided via email after registration) Complete this portion at your convenience. This is a self-paced course typically lasting a few hours. The Red Cross requires all online training must be completed before attending your in-person skill session (Part 2)
Part 2 - Skills Session
In Part 2, you will meet with one of our instructors to review what you have learned online. Our instructors will lead you through a course recap, answer any questions you have, and conduct practical skill seasons. This is your hands-on portion.
Upon successful completion, you will earn a two-year CPR and AED certification. You will receive your certification card via email using the ARC eCard system within 48 hours of your course.
Note:
If you are a healthcare provider/ EMS employee, this course may not fulfill your requirements. A Healthcare Provider or Basic Life Support level class may be required.
Minimum Class Size
The Red Cross requires a minimum class size of two to conduct Part 2. If the minimum class size is not reached, you can choose to receive a refund or be scheduled for the next class.
