The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns cuts scrapes sudden illnesses head neck back injuries heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Kitsap County Red Cross Adult/ Infant First Aid, CPR & AED

The 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

In this Adult CPR, AED and First Aid class students will learn how to provide immediate care to people experiencing a variety of emergencies. The course covers various topics, including recognizing emergencies, basic first aid responses, CPR, and using AEDs

Hands Only CPR is a simplified form of CPR that focuses on chest compressions without rescue breaths. It's a technique designed for bystanders to use when they encounter a sudden cardiac arrest.
